It is no longer necessary to unlock the ECU
Until now, tuning BMW models produced from 2020 required ECU unlocking.
Good news!
This is no longer the case for all models produced between July 2020 and 2024. We can now tune them directly, without an ECU unlock.
So, what does this mean in practice?
A faster service
> Before: we had to keep the vehicle in the workshop for several days.
> Now: the entire process takes just a few hours.
A more competitive price
> Before: ECU unlocking involved an additional cost.
> Now: with this step no longer required, the price is much more attractive.
